Welcome to The Illinois Marine web site. This site is intended to bring up-to-date information, the latest news and contact information for the Department of Illinois, Districts and all Detachments and Auxiliary Units in the state.
This site will provide real-time updates and listing of information that is of interest to Marines, friends and family. Please visit the Detachment Locator page to find out which Detachment is meeting near you. The Events page shows who is having events that you might be interested in attending or fundraisers that allow us to provide for our veterans. This web site is available to all Marines, family members and interested parties to help pass on information about the Marine Corps League.

SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE
We received several donations to the Scholarship fund in the memory of Committee Member PDC Bill Barta who will be missed greatly. He would have enjoyed the essays this year; they were inventive and a pleasure to read. The committee selected four recipients to receive the Barbara M Olejnicki Memorial Scholarship:
The Department IL MCL scholarship submission deadline is March 1, 2025.
The scholarship application available on the website is the CURRENT application.
We wish them success in all of their future endeavors.
