- 5/25/2013 - The Marmion Alumni Association will be hosting a "HEROES MUD RUN" at Marmion Academy and Abbey Farms, 1000 Butterfield Road (Rt. 56), Aurora, IL. There will be 4 waves of runners from 0900 to 1000 and a "Little Heroes Run at 1015. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Fallen Firefighters Foundation and the Heart of a Marine Foundation. - 5/25/2013 - The Chicago Police Marines Detachment #553 invites all Veterans and American Patriots to join them for the Memorial Day Parade and Party. March in the Chicago Downtown Memorial Day Parade then join in a parade party at 1412 W. Washington Blvd (Chicago Police FOP Hall) after the parade from 1100 to 1600.
